LEAN CLIPPERS (-124).

Los Angeles is the much hotter team. The Clippers 17-3 in their last 20, including 3-1 in their last 4 road games. The teams are very evenly matched defensively, but Los Angeles has the deeper team and has much more firepower offensively, an edge that could prove to be pivotal here.

Minnesota opened as a slight favorite, but with the questionable status of leading scorer G Anthony Edwards (25.8 points per game), the line moved in favored of Los Angeles.

This is only a lean because Edwards still might play, Minnesota has been very good in recent matchups with the L.A. and because the Timberwolves are a dominant 15-2 at home.

Against the spread

PASS.

These squads have been very even ATS in recent head-to-head matchups, going 5-5 in the last 10. I am also not a fan of doubling down on L.A. as I have already backed the Clippers on the moneyline.
